The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research(PGIMER) was established in the year 1962. The institution is one of the top institutes of medical education in India. Currently, the institution functions under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Indian Nursing Council, and the Government of India. The institution was started with an aim to provide students with quality education and facilities to become highly qualified medical teachers and doctors.
